Ideas/Events/Interests in no particular order

• Among other things, I’m interested in how things work, why they fail, and what happens when you try to make them better. In other words, engineering.

• Masters in Biomedical engineering with a certification in Medical Device Design from Duke University, Aug 2023 - Dec 2024.

• I write, sometimes.

• Religion & spiritual belief: “It’s important to romanticize the tree outside your bedroom window.”

• Favorite scientific phenomenon: Crown shyness. Trees can grow beside each other for decades without their canopies touching, leaving little windows of sky between them.

• I enjoy the Bleachers, The Red Clay Strays, Iron & Wine, and good old Ilaiyaraaja — preferably on long drives.

• Books I keep recommending: Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy.

• Often found lost in a good bookstore, an interesting conversation, or a completely unnecessary rabbit hole.

• Professional interests: Neurotechnology, neural interfaces, medical diagnostics, optics, design engineering, embedded systems, and the eternal pursuit of chasing ideas.
