Everything Everywhere, All at once

Among other things, I’m interested in how things work, why they fail, and what happens when you try to make them better. In other words, engineering.
Masters in Biomedical engineering with a certification in Medical Device Design from Duke University, Aug 2023 - Dec 2024.
I write, sometimes.
Religion & spiritual belief: “It’s important to romanticize the tree outside your bedroom window.”
Favorite scientific phenomenon: Crown shyness. Trees can grow beside each other for decades without their canopies touching, leaving little windows of sky between them.
I enjoy the Bleachers, The Red Clay Strays, Iron & Wine, and good old Ilaiyaraaja — preferably on long drives.
Books I keep recommending: Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy.
Often found lost in a good bookstore, an interesting conversation, or a completely unnecessary rabbit hole.
Professional interests: Neurotechnology, neural interfaces, medical diagnostics, optics, design engineering, embedded systems, and the eternal pursuit of chasing ideas.
